What is Affiliate Marketing?
The Google definition of Affiliate Marketing is - 'A marketing arrangement by which an online retailer pays commission to an external website (or individual) for traffic or sales generated from its referrals.'
So basically, we promote products we use ourselves from an affiliate retailer (Amazon for example); and at no extra cost to you, we get paid a commission because we helped the retailer make a sale by referring their product. If you would like to read further on this, Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad Poor Dad) wrote a book about it called 'The Business of the 21st Century'
